As an international educator I am working with other teachers to get the word out about this year’s 24 hour peace celebration. We are trying to organize several awareness raising events that will springboard on September 21st and hopefully continue throughout the year. Our aim is to inspire and model a culture of peace for our global citizens and future leaders.

I am a vocalist for South African rock band, WONDERboom. Last year I was involved with the production of a Peace Day concert where many rock bands performed for nothing and entrance was free. In a small way, it was effective in acknowledging and popularising the Day of Peace.
