On September 21, 2008, all kinds of people worldwide will host and attend International Day of Peace events. It's easy to take part:

To find an event:
Explore the map by zooming in and out, or enter a location in the box above and click "Search." You can also click on "Events Calendar" to see a complete list of posted events, by country. Most are open to the public, some require that you contact the host, and some are private.

To learn more about an event:
Click on a colored "pin" on the map. A pop-up window will appear displaying the event details. If you have any questions, you can e-mail the event host.

To attend an event:
If you see an address, you can just show up, although it's a good idea to check with the host just in case. If no address is listed, e-mail the host for additional information.
